A letter from Kim: Happy Thanksgiving to your and yours

  Hello friends, Last year, our family had Thanksgiving over a Zoom call as the virus was taking hold. It was different, yes, but the bonds that bind a family are not easily broken. I have to tell you something very personal. I’m thankful for the growth I have experienced since the pandemic and for having a greater appreciation of time. Let me explain.  As many of you know, my mother lived with me for the last 25 years. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December 2017. We’ve always been super close, and I was blessed by her love and mentoring.  Because of the pandemic, Temp Mail I spent the last year and a half of my mother’s life caring for her and sharing time with her like never before. I was working from home and checking on her several times a day, even stopping to watch “Judge Judy” with her. Sadly, her cancer grew and treatment options stopped.
